The main synagogue in Vinnitsa , or the Lifshits synagogue , is the Jewish synagogue in the city of Vinnitsa on the street. Cathedral , 62.

Built in 1897 at the expense of the merchant Lifshitz. By the beginning of the 1917 revolution, it was the main synagogue in Vinnitsa. Services were held here until 1929, when the synagogue was closed and turned into a club to them. Joseph Stalin . During the Second World War , the theater was located in the building, and then a clothing distribution point for executed Jews was organized there [1] .
After the war, the building housed the Philharmonic, and in 1985 it was abandoned [1] . The synagogue building was returned to the Jewish community in 1992, after which it was completely renovated by the efforts of Rabbi Label Surkis and Isaak Novoselecki.
On the night of May 18-19, 2005, swastikas and anti-Semitic graffiti appeared on the walls of the synagogue - this was the first such case in the history of the community after 1991 [2] .
Since 2018, a casino has been operating in the synagogue [3] [4] .
