It was formed in 1898 in connection with the construction of the Syzran – Ruzayevka railway line. The name of the village came from the Mordovian “lei” - a river, a ravine. In 1913 there were 19 courtyards and 95 inhabitants.
The water tower (1888) in the village is an object of historical and cultural heritage.
Infrastructure
The village has a school (since 1918), a kindergarten, a first-aid post, shops, a post office, a church, and there is no club. On the territory of the village is a woodworking enterprise LLC “Voyage”.
Through Art. Nalyaka passes the Kuibyshev railway "Moscow-Ryazan-Saransk-Samara-Ufa-Chelyabinsk" of federal significance.
Gas supply, centralized heat supply, central water supply, electricity supply and telephone installation of the village were carried out. It is planned to build sewage treatment plants until 2030.
