Vladimir Petrovich Kuregeshev ( November 9, 1945 , Tashtagol - March 9, 2004 , Kemerovo ) - Soviet and Russian boxing coach. He has been coaching since 1978, the coach of the Youth Sports School of Kemerovo and the Dynamo Sports Society, the founder and trainer of the Boxing Ring Kuzbass club, and the personal trainer of multiple world champion among professionals Yuri Arbachakov . Honored Trainer of the USSR (1989).

Biography
Vladimir Kuregeshev was born on November 9, 1945 in the city of Tashtagol, Kemerovo Region . He began to actively engage in boxing at the age of fifteen, was trained in the local section under the guidance of coach Yu. S. Aylarov , and later moved to permanent residence in Novocheboksarsk , where he was ward of D. S. Ignatiev. In 1977, he won a silver medal at the championship of the central council of the voluntary sports society "Trud" and thereby fulfilled the standard of the master of sports of the USSR .
At the end of his sports career, starting in 1978, he was engaged in coaching. In 1984, he returned to Kuzbass and began coaching in the newly formed Regional Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve. For many years he worked as a boxing trainer at the Dynamo Sports and Fitness Society in Kemerovo .
Over the years of coaching, Kuregeshev has trained many talented athletes who have achieved success at the international and all-Union level, including 12 masters of sports and several dozen candidates for master of sports. His most famous student is Honored Master of Sports Yuri Arbachakov , champion of Europe and the world, champion of the USSR, who later made a successful career among professionals, in particular, he held the title of world champion according to the World Boxing Council [1] . When Arbachakov won the World Cup in Moscow in 1989, Vladimir Kuregeshev was awarded the title of Honored Trainer of the USSR . The only honored boxing trainer of the USSR in Kuzbass. Also his pupil was Oleg Ashikhmin, champion of the RSFSR, champion of the USSR among professionals.
In 1990, Kuregeshev founded his own boxing club “Ring of Kuzbass”, where he was one of the first in the country to train professional boxers and kickboxers. So, his student Alexander Yudin in 1996 won the kickboxing world championship in South Korea [2] [3] .
He died on March 9, 2004 at the age of 58 due to heart problems.
Wife - Kuregesheva Lyubov Vasilievna. Son Pyotr Vladimirovich Kuregeshev - President of the Kuzbass Boxing and Kickboxing Federation. Daughters of Stalin and Anastasia.
An open city championship was held in Kemerovo in memory of the honored trainer of the USSR Vladimir Petrovich Kuregeshev [4]
