Biography
Born December 19, 1918 in the village. Ahty in Dagestan. Since 1919, she lived with her mother in Baku, where she graduated from an 8-year school. In 1938, she graduated from high school as an external student and entered the medical faculty of the Azerbaijan Medical Institute. Due to the political repression, her husband’s brother was forced to leave school and then leave Azerbaijan. In 1948 she graduated from the Turkmen Medical Institute and worked as the head. Department of the district hospital in Hasankuli. From 1951 to 1956, she was the chief physician of city hospitals in the city of Nebid-Dag, the city of Chardzhou and other cities.
Since 1957, she moved with her family to Termez (Uzbekistan) and worked in the Surkhandarya regional SES - initially the head. Pasteur’s office, and since 1958 - Head. laboratory in the department of especially dangerous infections. In 1965-1966 she personally participated in the work to eliminate the cholera outbreak that arose in the city of Nukus and the city of Khorezm. For this work, she was awarded Honorary Diplomas of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan and the USSR.
In October 1966, after the death of her husband, she returned to Baku and, by order of the Minister of Health of the USSR, was appointed to the post of doctor of the Azerbaijan Anti-Plague Station. Later, she took advanced training courses at the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute and successfully worked both in the laboratory and as part of anti-epidemic groups traveling to different regions of Azerbaijan.
As a highly qualified specialist with extensive clinical experience in the treatment of many especially dangerous infections, she has been instructing infectious disease specialists in hospitals in Baku for plague, cholera and other especially dangerous infections for many years.
For many years of excellent work in the anti-plague system, she was awarded the Veteran of Labor medal and diplomas of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan. In 1985, she was awarded the title of Honored Doctor of Azerbaijan. In 1990, she retired. She died on September 30, 1991 and was buried in Baku.

Spouse - Mammadov Giyas (Kiyas) Ismail oglu (1916-1966) - doctor and organizer of health care, whose activities were aimed at developing a health system in the countries of Central Asia, Honored Doctor of Uzbekistan.
Son - Murad Kiyas oglu Mammadov - Soviet and Azerbaijani virologist, doctor of medical sciences, professor in the specialty "Virology" and professor in the specialty "Allergology and Immunology", academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, academician of the IEA, Honored Doctor of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
