Content
History
In 1970, the institute begins scientific activity as part of the SB VASKHNIL. In 1977, a breeding center for feed crops appeared in the institution on the basis of a laboratory for breeding and seed production.
Since 1988, the research institute has been leading the scientific activities of the Uzhursky experimental plant for feed crops ( Krasnoyarsk Territory ) and in the Posevnoye farm of the Cherepanovsky district . Also, scientific and experimental bases appear at the enterprises of the Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Tyumen, Omsk, Tomsk and Chita regions, Krasnoyarsk and Altai territories, in the republics of Tuva, Buryatia and Khakassia.
Activities
Creation of new breeding methods and improvement of existing breeding methods. Development of technological products for the production of seeds of perennial grasses, legumes and cruciferous crops. Creation of technologies for conservation and further storage of feed.
