Andrei Pavlovich Gorban ( Ukrainian: Andrii Pavlovich Gorban ; March 21, 1978 , Pervomaisky , Kharkiv Oblast ) is a Ukrainian footballer who played as a midfielder. At the end of his career, he became a coach.

Biography
A pupil of Kharkov football, from the age of 12 he played for the local sports school "Spartak". Since 1992, he studied at the Kharkov sports boarding school, the first trainers - Nikolai Pilguy and Vladimir Linke . Since 1996 - as part of the Kirovograd " Star ". He made his debut in the championship of Ukraine on June 15, 1997, at the 75th minute of the home game against Zaporizhzhya “ Torpedo ” replacing Alexander Mikhailenko [1] . However, at first he could not gain a foothold in the first team, playing mainly for the club’s second team in the second league. In 1999, he transferred to the Azerbaijani “ Turan ” for half a year, for which he played only 8 games.
In the summer of 2000, he became a player in Nikopol Metallurg , who played in the first league. As part of the Nikopolites spent a year appearing on the field in most games. Then he returned to the Star, flying out of the big leagues. In the team, led by Yuri Koval , was a major player and one of the leaders. As part of the Kirovogradites in 2003, he won the first league and returned to the elite division. Nevertheless, for a long time Zvezda, which had experienced financial problems during the season, did not stay in the Premier League, taking the last place in the first season after returning, and Gorban left the team.
In 2004, following Kovale, he moved to the Lugansk " Dawn ". He played for Lugansk until 2006, and also played for Dawn farm clubs at an amateur level. In the 2005/06 season, as part of the team, he won the first league again, but left the Dawn at the end of the season. In the period 2006-2008, he replaced a number of clubs in the lower leagues, without staying anywhere for long. He also played as part of Kirovograd's "Stars" and " Olympic ", while playing in the amateur championship of Ukraine. The last game on a professional level was held in 2008, as part of the " Unity " from Plysok. At the end of his career, he also played in the championship of the Kirovograd region for some time.
In 2004 he graduated from the Kharkov Academy of Physical Education . In 2009, he became a trainer and teacher at the Zvezda-Spartak youth sports school in Kirovograd. Since 2012 - a trainer at the Academy of Stars. In 2017, he was appointed coach of the youth team of Zvezda. On June 20, 2018 he was appointed acting head coach of the Kropyvnytsky club [2] .
