Biography

Ottavio Tonyazzi was born in the family of an insurance company inspector. First appeared on the theatrical stage of the theater Donizetti di Bergamo at the age of four. In 1936, at the age of fourteen, he began working at the Negroni sausage factory. During World War II, he performed in concert teams at the front. In 1944, in the hometown of Cremona, he was an archivist . Since 1945 he performed on stage and in the theater.

In marriage with actress Franka Betoya (born in 1936) raised two children. His son - Ricky Tonyazzi , film director, actor, played the role of the son of the character Tonyazzi Sr. in the film " The Tragedy of a Funny Man ." Hugo Tonyazzi suddenly died on October 27, 1990 in a dream of a stroke .
