Lyceum No. 12 (Ishimbay)

The full name of the lyceum is “Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution Lyceum No. 12 of the Ishimbay City of the Ishimbay District of the Republic of Bashkortostan”.

The lyceum is located at 41 Gubkina Street , Ishimbay, Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia ^[1] .

The number of students is 590, teachers are 36 (of which> 50% are of the highest qualification category, 30% have titles) ^[1] .

Directors:

• Admaev Alexander Fedorovich (until 2002) - an excellent student of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
• Vinokurova Valentina Vasilievna (since 2002) - Honored Teacher of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The comprehensive school was founded on August 16, 1940, and on August 16 as school number 16 ^[1] . She later wore number 12.

The lyceum was created in February 1992 on the basis of secondary school No. 12, since December 1999 - its current status and name ^[2] .

Since 1998, training on three profiles has been introduced for high school students: physical-mathematical, chemical-biological and socio-economic.

In 2006, the lyceum became the winner of the All-Russian competition of educational institutions introducing innovative educational programs.

In 2014, the lyceum entered the top 200 educational organizations providing high opportunities for the development of students' talents ^{[3] [4]} and the top 500 best schools of the country ^{[5] [6]}

In 2011, lyceum students became owners of the Bashkortostan Cup in Physics ^[7] ,

In 2014, Ermakova Svetlana Nikolaevna, a biology teacher, became the absolute winner of the contest “Teacher of the year in Bashkortostan - 2014” ^{[8] [9]}

In 2007, memorial plaques were installed on the building for graduates M. S. Taymasov and A. A. Anofrev, who died in Afghanistan, and M. V. Filipchev, who died in Chechnya ^[10] .

Since 2015, Lyceum No. 12 regularly wins the municipal basketball stage of the IES-BASKET in basketball, and becomes the winner of zone competitions ^[11] .
