Born on May 20, 1956 in the village of Yurlovka, Inza district, Ulyanovsk region.
From 1973 to 1974 served in the Army.
He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation (1983) and graduate school at Moscow State Open University (1994). Candidate of Technical Sciences (1994, dissertation topic "Prevention of self-oscillating modes of high-pressure mine pumps").
Since 1987, he worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR and the Russian Federation in positions from trainee to deputy director of the department. The class rank is the current state adviser to the Russian Federation of the 3rd class, diplomatic rank is attaché.
He worked on business trips:
- 1991-1993 - Embassy of Russia in Japan;
- 1996-1998 - Embassy of Russia in France;
- 2002-2005 - Embassy of Russia in Norway;
- 2008—2013 - Permanent Mission of Russia to international organizations in Vienna, Austria.
Since September 2013 - Deputy Director of the Department of Information Support.
He died on February 10, 2017 after a long illness.
Laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology in 2001.
