Biography

Vasily Perchik was born December 2, 1951 in the city of Storozhynets (now Chernivtsi region of Ukraine ) in a large family. Shortly after birth, he moved to Krasnokamsk with his family. He graduated from local school number 8. Since 1962 he worked as a mechanic at the mechanization section of trust No. 5. In 1965 he was drafted into the army. In 1968, he got a job at the Kama Pulp and Paper Mill [1] .

From the beginning of the 1960s, he became interested in sambo. Since 1968, he has been a social activist trainer, physical education and sports instructor at the Central Control Commission, a trainer and lecturer of the Rossiya sports club. In 1976 he graduated from the school of trainers at the Omsk State Institute of Physical Culture . Since 1989, he has been a senior trainer and teacher at the Krasnokamsk Specialized Children and Youth School of the Olympic Reserve for Combating Sambo, since 1996, he has been the principal of this school [1] . Since 1996 - Chairman of the All-Russian College of Sambo Judges, and since 1997 - International [2] .

He contributed to the development of sambo in Krasnokamsk and the Perm region. On his initiative, the All-Russian Sambo Tournament in memory of the astronaut P. I. Belyaev, the international tournament in memory of the founder of Sambo in the Kama region L. D. Golev [3] is held in Krasnokamsk. Trained over a hundred athletes [4] .
