Boris Gennadievich Dvornikov (born November 23, 1961 , Sverdlovsk ) is a Soviet and Russian marathon runner and track and field coach . Honored Trainer of Russia (1992). Silver medalist of the Deaflympics of 1993 [1] . Master of Sports of Russia of international class (1994).

Biography
Boris Gennadievich Dvornikov was born on November 23, 1961 in Sverdlovsk. His father is an outstanding athlete of the early 1960s Gennady Kupriyanovich Dvornikov, winner of all the highest awards of the World Games of the Deaf. While studying at school, Boris was engaged in gymnastics, swimming and pole vaulting. In 1978 he became interested in running, from 1979 to 1984 he was engaged under the leadership of Vladimir Ivanovich Kamensky.
In 1981, after graduating from the Sverdlovsk Electromechanical College, he was assigned to work at the Uralelectrotyazhmash plant named after V.I. Lenin, where he became a sports instructor and organized an athletics section under the House of Culture of the Sverdlovsk Regional Branch of the All-Russian Society of the Deaf. In 1985, Boris went to work at the Turbomotor Plant, trained by Eduard Petrovich Chukreev.
Since 1985, Dvornikov is a head coach in the endurance group of the national team of the USSR, the RSFSR and Russia.
In 1992, Boris Gennadievich began to work in the Youth Sports School No. 19 of the Ordzhonikidzevsky District of Yekaterinburg. Later he registered the public organization "Rehabilitation center for the hearing-impaired by hearing" Rhythm "." In 1997, he was elected president of the regional branch of the Russian Sports Union of the Deaf [2] [3] .
The greatest successes among his pupils were:
- Artyom Arefiev - three-time champion of the Paralympic Games (2004, 2008) [4] ;
- Larisa Zhukova - champion and medalist of the Deaflympics (1989, 1993, 1997), seven-time European champion, multiple champion of the USSR and Russia, world and Russian record holder;
- Vyacheslav Novoselov - bronze medalist of the Deaflympics (1989, 1993);
- Ivan Skurikhin - bronze medalist of the Deaflympics (1997, 2001), numerous European medalist, champion and record holder of Russia;
- Natalya Dyakova - silver and bronze medalist of the Deaflympics (1997);
- Pavel Ukhanov - champion and medalist of the Deaflympics (2001).
