Bottle House ( Azerb. Butulkalı ev ) - an unusual mansion in Ganja ( Azerbaijan ), built of glass bottles.

Overview
The two-story bottle house was built by a resident of Ganja Ibrahim Jafarov in 1966-1967 from glass bottles of various shapes and sizes and colorful stones brought from Sochi . 48,000 bottles were used in construction. [1] [2] The construction of the house was dedicated to the memory of brother Ibragim Jafarov, who disappeared during the Second World War . [2]
Home Decoration
The year of construction of the summer house is indicated on the wall by the porch. A large portrait of the missing brother Yusif Jafarov is painted in front under the ledge of the roof. In addition, the walls of the house were decorated with notes on the Olympic Games that took place in the USSR in 1980, and there is also a name and portrait of the owner. [1] [2] [3] The words "Ganja" (the historical name of the city) were written in different parts of the building, but at that time the city was officially called Kirovabad (1935-1989). [4] [5]
In the XXI century, the house was reconstructed and is a popular place among citizens and tourists.
