Elections to the Duma of the Stavropol Territory (2016)

The election of deputies of the Duma of the Stavropol Territory of the sixth convocation was held in the Stavropol Territory on September 18, 2016 on a single voting day , simultaneously with the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation . The elections were held according to a mixed electoral system : out of 50 deputies, 25 were elected by party lists ( proportional system ), the remaining 25 - by single-mandate constituencies ( majority system ). To get into the regional Duma by a proportional system, parties need to overcome the 5% barrier . The term of office of deputies is five years.
