Biography

Valery Stanislavovich Anoshko was born on August 9, 1938 in the small village of Gaidukovo Slobodka in the Chervensky district of the Minsk region . He graduated from elementary school in his native village , which was organized in the room of an ordinary apartment building. Further studies took place in the Krasnodar seven-year school , and then, since 1952 , in Rovanichi secondary school .

He could not continue his studies immediately after school . From 1955 to 1956 , he worked in the Bureau of Technical Inventory (BTI) of Minsk , and from 1956 to 1957 , he worked at the Minsk Motovozavod . He was elected secretary of the shop Komsomol organization and a member of the Komsomol committee of the plant.

In 1957 he entered the geographical faculty of the Belarusian State University . He took an active part in the work of student scientific conferences. Already in the 3rd year after practical training, V.S. Anoshko is credited to the full-time position of a soil technician, and later as a soil engineer of the BelNII Soil Science, which determined his further specialization.

After graduating from the Faculty of Geography ( 1963 ), he worked as a teacher in the Staroyurkovichi eight-year school of the Lyuban district of the Minsk region . In combination, he continued to work as a soil engineer at the BelNII Soil Science.

Since 1964 he has been working at BSU as a junior researcher at the Research Laboratory of Soil Biogeochemistry (the head of the laboratory is Academician I.S. Lupinovich ).

In 1965 he entered graduate school at the Department of Soil Science of BSU . During this, he took part in all-Union scientific conferences in Dnepropetrovsk and Lviv . After graduating from the graduate school, he remained at the department. In 1973 he was elected to the post of senior lecturer at the Department of Soil Science . In 1980 , the acting Head of the Department of Soil Science and Geology, BSU , and in 1982 he was elected by competition for this position. Thanks to his work, the department became the basis for the organization of two new specialties: “ geology ” and “ geographic information systems ”.

He participated in the preparations for the release of the first issue of the Bulletin of BSU ( 1968 - 1969 ).

He participated in the organization and holding of All-Union symposia on reclamation geography and all-Union conferences on natural reclamation monitoring.

In 1983 , at the Third Congress of Belarusian Geographers, V.S. Anoshko was unanimously elected president of the Geographical Society of the BSSR .

On his initiative and with his participation, work was organized to prepare and publish the National Atlas of Belarus ( 2002 ), and the geographical centers of Belarus and Europe were identified.

In 1990 , at the Council of Leningrad State University, he defended his thesis for the title of Doctor of Geographical Sciences on the theme "Land reclamation-geographical analysis of a large region (on the example of the territory of the Belarusian SSR )." In 1991 he was awarded the academic title of professor . At the same time, he was appointed rector of the Belarusian-Norwegian public higher school.

He is elected a corresponding member ( 1993 ), and later an academician ( 1995 ) of the International Academy of Ecology. In 1994 , Professor V.S. Anoshko was elected a corresponding member of the International Academy of Sciences of Eurasia , which included scientists from more than 10 countries.

V.S. Anoshko took place as a historiographer . Much attention was paid to the role of Belarusians , immigrants from Belarus in the development and formation of science. He actively participated in organizing and conducting conferences dedicated to the significant anniversaries of I.I. Domeyko , I.I. Khodzko , A.A. Smolich , G.I. Goretsky , I.S. Lupinovich , O.F. Yakushko and others.

He paid much attention to the problems of land reclamation in Polesie . In 2013 , he headed studies on the generalization of the state of natural complexes of Polesie and identification of problems for their optimization and rational use.

Teaching activities

Over the years, he taught a key discipline - “ Soil Science and Soil Geography ”, according to which he published three textbooks ( 2000 , 2011 , 2013 ).

Constantly engaged in updating the educational process at the department, developed new courses: "Fundamentals of geographic forecasting" (since 1980 ), "Ecological basics of land reclamation " ( 1978 - 1986 ), "Engineering geography" (since 1992 ), "The doctrine of geotechnical systems ”,“ History of soil science of Belarus ”( 1992 ),“ History and methodology of soil science ”(since 2010 ). For each of these courses he wrote textbooks or teaching aids.

He also paid much attention to school geography. On his initiative, starting in 1991 , geography Olympiads have been held for schoolchildren. For more than 10 years he was the chairman of the jury of all republican geography competitions. He systematically delivered lectures and reports to teachers at the regional and republican institutes for the improvement of teachers .

The scientific and pedagogical heritage of V.S. Anoshko is more than 500 scientific publications, including more than 50 separate publications ( monographs , textbooks , study guides, programs and recommendations).

Public participation

He was a member and head of the party and trade union bureau, methodical commission, council of young scientists, was a member of the scientific and technical council of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic of Belarus, an expert of the council of the Fundamental Research Fund of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus , a member of the board of the Problems of Polesye , a member of the bureau of the council for the biosphere and the Ecological Commission of the Academy of Sciences Belarus , a member of the editorial board of the Belarusian Encyclopedia , a member of two councils for the defense of candidate and doctoral dissertations , deputy chairman of the expert council of the Higher Attestation Commission , chairman of the geography section, ge of ecology , geodesy and cartography of the scientific and methodological center of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus , deputy editor-in-chief of the scientific and methodological journal "Geography", etc.

Bibliography

V.S. Anoshko is the author of more than 450 scientific works, including 9 monographs , 23 textbooks and manuals with the stamp of the Ministry of Education, more than 50 educational publications and training cards.

Awards and Prizes

V.S. Anoshko rightfully awarded the honorary titles "Excellence in Education of the Republic of Belarus " ( 1998 ) and "Honored Worker of the Belarusian State University " ( 2013 ).

He was one of the first employees of the Belarusian higher school to be awarded the Francis Skorina Medal ( 1996 ). Among the awards are an Honorary Diploma of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, diplomas of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the USSR , four Honorary Diplomas of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, more than 10 Honorary Diplomas of the BSU Administration , 3 Honorary Diplomas of the Geographical Society of the USSR . Valery Stanislavovich twice winner of the scientific prize of the BSU named after Akamedik A.N.Sevchenko ( 1998 , 2002 ).
