History
The plant was founded at the end of 1945 in accordance with the circular of the Navy of the USSR as the Sevastopol Shipyard of the Black Sea Fleet. Workshops in Kilen Bay , which were returned in April 1945 from evacuation to Poti, became the base for the plant.
In the mid-sixties of the twentieth century, the plant was entrusted with the work on the conversion of ships. In the mid-70s of the twentieth century, the plant’s workshops mastered the repair of ships of projects 1134B , 1124 , 1124M, 1234 , 257, 1265 , 266 , 266M.
In 2012, the specialists of the plant on state defense order repaired 82 warships and support vessels. Among them are the Moscow guards missile cruiser, as well as the Bora hovercraft missile ship, the Kasimov and Aleksandrovets small anti-submarine ships, and the Ivan Golubets marine minesweeper. The plant produces: comprehensive repairs to maintain the technical readiness of ships and vessels of the Navy; average, current and dock repairs of ships and vessels of rank 1, 2, 3 and 4 ; maintenance of military equipment and the implementation of certain repairs of hull structures, mechanisms, systems and devices of ships and vessels up to rank 1 inclusive; expert inspection and repair of Gostekhnadzor facilities.
Types of production: case-docking, mechanical, electrical, electrical, woodworking, piping, radio engineering, galvanic, forging, foundry, turbodiesel.

Rewards
For successful work on undermining the combat readiness of the Black Sea Fleet ships, the plant was awarded with the passing Red Banners of the Central Committee of the CPSU, the Council of Ministers of the USSR, the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions in 1973, 1975, 1977, 1983, 1984, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988 and 1989 forever.
December 18, 1987 the plant was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor .
