Career

Kurchi is a graduate of the Roma Football Academy. At 19, he became the main goalkeeper for the second half of the 2004/05 season , after goalkeepers Ivan Pelizzoli and Carlo Zotti received injuries . The next season, a place in the gate was taken by the Brazilian Doni , and Kurchi again lost his place in the composition. In June 2008, Gianluca moved to Siena , which bought back half of his contract [1] . July 2, 2010 transferred to Sampdoria , which bought half of his contract from Siena. During the summer transfer window , Roma was fully redeemed for the position of the main goalkeeper [2] . On July 16, 2012, he transferred to Bologna on a one-year lease with a possible right to buy out [3] [4] [5] . In 2014, he returned to Roma [6] .
