Vazha ( Belor. Vazha ) is a lake in the Miorsky district of the Vitebsk region of Belarus in the Vyat river basin . Included in the Obstern group of lakes .

Vazha is located 12 km south-west of Miory and 3 km south of Perebrodye village. On the shore of the lake is the village Murashki.
Description
The lake is eutrophic , dammed type . The southern and southwestern slopes of the lake basin have a height of 8–10 m, sometimes reaching 17 m. The slopes are covered with forest, the slopes are plowed in the north and northwest. In the northeast, the vast swamp area of the Swamp Mokh adjoins the lake. The shoal is sandy, extended. The bottom is silty and sapropelic . The shores of the lake in the north and west are abrasion . Overgrown to a depth of 2 m at a distance of 15 to 100 m from the coast.
The lake is connected to the Obsterno lake by a channel whose width is 200 m. It has 2 islands with a total area of 0.01 km². [four]
Animal and Plant World
The lake is home to bream , pike , roach , tench , rudd , perch and other fish. Commercial fishing is carried out, and paid recreational fishing is organized.
The surrounding forests are rich in blueberries , lingonberries , cranberries , wild blackberries , and mushrooms . [five]
