Biography

Born July 26, 1980 in Kherson, Ukrainian SSR.

She was engaged in sports already at school. In 1998-2004, she played for the Wings-Sport sports club ( Mariupol , Donetsk region ) in the weight category 67.5 kg. Her trainers were I. Zbandut [2] and S. Romanenko [3] . Lesia's first coach was Alexander Plevako . [four]

Lesya Guminskaya was a repeated champion of Ukraine (1999-2004); silver medalist of the world championships 1999 and 2000; absolute world champion among juniors in 2000; silver medalist of the world championships (traction) in 1999, 2002, 2003 and 2004 and Europe in 2002; bronze medalist of the 2004 World Cup and silver medalist (triathlon) of the 2004 European Championship.
