Description of the monument

The monument is located on the outskirts of the former cemetery, which was located between the streets Green , Gubkin , Vakhitov and Chkalov [1] [2] .

The monument is made of concrete and plastered: metal fencing, the perimeter of 8 meters.

History

During the Great Patriotic War in Ishimbay, at the address: Geological Street , 10/3, two evacuation hospitals were located - 2606 and 5920. The dead soldiers were buried in the cemetery on the outskirts of the city.

In 1949, the chairman of the executive committee of the Ishimbay city council of workers' deputies, Gabdrakhman Khismatullin , initiated the construction of a monument to all fallen soldiers [1] .

For a long time the structure was in poor condition [1] . In 2014, a memorial plaque with a list of buried soldiers was installed on one of the sides, and the monument was restored in 2015 [1] .
