History

According to 1923, in the village of Chuprovskaya there were 44 households and 246 people lived (125 men and 121 women). Administratively, Chuprovka was part of the Yangut rural society of the Osinovo volost of the Bohan Aymak of the Buryat-Mongol Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic [2] .

Geography

The village is located in the southern part of the Irkutsk region, south of the Osa River, at a distance of approximately 13 kilometers (in a straight line) east-southeast (ESE) from the village of Osa , the administrative center of the district. The absolute height is 469 meters above sea ​​level [3] .
