Relic Forest Lom

Lom is a relict forest in Republika Srpska , in Bosnia and Herzegovina . It is located on the territory of the Istochny-Drvar and Petrovac communities. It covers an area of ​​297.8 ha [1] .

This forest was taken under state protection in the time of Yugoslavia , in 1956. In 2013, the authorities of the Republika Srpska decided to create a natural reservation here. The corresponding resolution was signed by the Head of the Government of the Republika Srpska Zeljka Tsviyanovich on April 18, 2013. Forest protection is monitored by the Oshtreљ - Driniћ enterprise from Petrovac [2] . Flora forest is represented mainly by beech and spruce.

Part of the forest suffered during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina [3] .
