Content
History
Soldatovo village was founded in 1876 . In 1928 a school and a shop of a consumer society functioned in the village, there were 222 farms, 1068 people lived. Administratively, the village was the center of the village council of the Fast-Istok district of the Biysky district of the Siberian region [2] .
Geography
The village is located in the south-eastern part of the Altai Territory, on the right bank of the Ob River , at a distance of about 15 kilometers (straight) to the south-south-west (SSW) from the village of Fast Istok , the administrative center of the district. The absolute height is 152 meters above sea level [3] . The climate is temperate continental. The average January temperature is −18 ° C, July - +18.6 ° C. Annual precipitation is 470 mm [4] .
