Alexander Emelyanovich Kozhukh ( Ukrainian: Olexander Omelyanovich Kozhukh ; 1931 - 2016 ) - Soviet and Ukrainian coach; Honored Coach of the Ukrainian SSR (1963) and Honored Coach of the USSR (1966).

Biography
He was born on July 14, 1931 in the city of Stalin (now Donetsk) of the Ukrainian SSR.
In 1965 he graduated from the Kharkov Pedagogical Institute (now the Skovoroda Kharkov National Pedagogical University ), after which he worked as a senior coach and director of the Sports School of the Kharkiv Regional Council of the Dynamo Sports Society (1965-1987) and at the same time was a coach of the USSR swimming team ( 1967-1969). From 1988 to 1991, Alexander Kozhukh worked as the director of the School for Swimming of the Crimean Republican Council of Dynamo Society. After the collapse of the USSR , from 2001 to 2008, he was a senior coach of the Ukrainian swimming team. After that, he worked as a trainer-teacher at the State School of Higher Sports Excellence in Kiev .
A. E. Kozhukh prepared a number of famous swimmers, among them Yu. Vereitinov [1] , I. Gapon [2] , T. Devyatova [3] , V. Dolgov [4] , A. Manachinsky , N. Popova , Ya. Klochkova and others. For his work he was awarded the Order of Merit of the 3rd degree (2004).
He died on July 19, 2016 in Kiev. [five]
He was married to N.F. Kozhukh , also the honored swimming coach of Ukraine. [6] In Kharkov, swimming competitions are held after the name of the family Casing. [7]
