History

The Yeruslan section of the Pokrovsko-Uralskaya line of the Ryazan-Uralskaya railway was opened in 1894 . The name of the trip was given to the largest river in this area, flowing a little to the south [3] .

The settlement village began to grow in Soviet times. In 1930, Yruslan became the central estate of the new state farm No. 2 of Sortsemtrest, at which time the first elementary school opened in the village. A year later, the repair shop of state farm No. 2, which received the name of 15 years of Komsomol [3] , began work. The settlement belonged to the Fedorov canton of the Volga Germans Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic . On August 28, 1941, a Decree of the Presidium of the USSR Armed Forces on the resettlement of Germans living in the Volga region was issued. The German population of the Volga Germans Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was deported .

After the liquidation of the Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic of the Volga region, the state farm named after 15 years of the Komsomol, like other settlements of the Fedorov canton, was transferred to the Saratov region . During the Great Patriotic War , more than 120 residents of Yruslan were killed. In 1968, the local school received secondary status. In the late Soviet period, the village was the center of the Yeruslansky village council; the state farm functioned as the Yeruslansky farm of the Volga Volga Elite NGO. The Yeruslanskoye collective farm at the beginning of the 21st century went bankrupt and ceased to exist, the building of the former state farm office burned down on September 30, 2014 [3] .
