The farm is located in the steppe [2] , 18 km southeast of the village of Red October .

History

On the map of the General Staff of the Red Army of the south of Russia is designated as farm number 3 of the farm "Red October" [3] . Since 1935 - the farm Zholobov (New Zholobov) of the Uryamovsk village council as part of the Kaysatsky district of the Stalingrad region [4] (since 1936 - the district as part of the Stalingrad region ) [5] .

In 1950, in connection with the abolition of the Kaysatsky district, the farm was transferred to the Pallasovsky district. By the decision of the Executive Committee of the Volgograd Regional Council of December 4, 1964 No. 34/501, the farm of Zholobov of the Uprjamovsky village council was renamed the village of Izobilny, but subsequently this name is not used. In 1967, the Uppryamovsky village council was renamed the Krasnooktyabrsky Village Council [6] .
