CONCACAF League ( Eng. CONCACAF League , Spanish. Liga Concacaf ) is an annual football tournament held by CONCACAF among clubs in Central America and the Caribbean . The tournament was announced in May 2017 [1] .

Format
The tournament involves 16 teams: two teams each from Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama and El Salvador, one team from Belize, as well as teams that took second, third and fourth places in the Caribbean Club Championship . The tournament is held according to the Olympic elimination system, each round is played in two matches (at home and away). The winner of the tournament qualifies for participation in the CONCACAF Champions League .
