Biography

She was born on April 25, 1981 in the village of Gerasimovka, Stanichno-Lugansk district, Voroshilovgrad (now Lugansk) region of the Ukrainian SSR.

She graduated from the Lugansk regional vocational school-boarding school (for people with disabilities). [2]

Member of the national team of Ukraine since 2000. He has been playing for the Lugansk regional center “Invasport” since the same year. Her trainer is Rimma Starostina . [3]

She was awarded the Order of Merit of the 3rd degree (2004) and the Certificate of Merit of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (2004) [4] . In 2006, she was awarded a scholarship from the President of Ukraine for outstanding athletes in Paralympic and Deaflympic sports and their trainers. [five]

Sporting Achievements

  • Champion of the Paralympic Games in Athens at a distance of 200 m, took 6th place at the Paralympic Games in Beijing at distances of 100 and 200 m.
  • World Championship medalist: 2002 ( France ) at distances of 100 m and 200 m; 2006 ( Netherlands ) at a distance of 200 m; 2007 ( Czech Republic ) at a distance of 200 m and in the relay 4 × 100 m; 2008 ( Great Britain ) at distances of 100 and 200 m; 2011 ( New Zealand ) in the 4 × 100 m relay.
  • Silver medalist of the 2003 European Championship at a distance of 200 m.
  • Champion of the World Games of Persons with Disabilities with the consequences of cerebral palsy in 2001 ( Great Britain ) at distances of 100 and 200 m, as well as in the relay race 4 × 100 m; 2005 ( USA ) at distances of 100 m and 200 m.
