Content
Botanical Description
A tree up to 15 - 20 meters high.
Flowers about 2 cm in size, with 5 yellow petals, in paniculate inflorescences. Flowering lasts from early to mid-summer.
The fruit is a tricuspid capsule from orange-brown to purple in color with black seeds.
Propagation in nature
The birthplace of this plant is Taiwan and South China .
In Culture
It is bred as a decorative in tropical and subtropical regions of the world.
