Private lessons ( French Élève libre ) is a Belgian-French film drama of 2008 directed by director Joachim Lafoss. The premiere took place on May 19, 2008 at the 61st Cannes Film Festival , where the tape participated in the 40th anniversary program of the Directors' Double Week [5] . In 2011, the film was nominated in 7 categories for the Belgian national film award " Magritte ", in two of which he received awards [6] .

Content
Story
16-year-old Jonas does not study well at school, but plays tennis well and even wins the school championship and dreams of devoting his life to professional tennis. The guy has a Dolphin girl with whom they are about to switch from a platonic relationship to a sexual one. New adult friends of Jonas - Natalie, her boyfriend Didier and Pierre, become for him the only circle of friends. They are keenly interested in the teenager’s personal life, teach him to live an adult life and promise to help in learning. At the same time, 30-year-old Pierre has other views of Jonas. He not only helps prepare for college exams and gives advice on personal life, but also becomes a friend, mentor, and subsequently Jonas’s lover.
