Nasher, Jack

Jack Nasher has Syrian , Armenian and Afghan roots. His father was a surgeon, his mother was a doctor of internal medicine and a writer. Nasser attended various educational institutions in Germany , France and the United States . Nasher received a master's degree in philosophy and psychology from the University of Trier . ^[1] He graduated from the Law School of Frankfurt University , received a master's degree in management from Oxford University , and was also a Holywell Manor fellow at Balliol College, Oxford University. ^[2] He received his doctorate in philosophy from a university in Vienna . ^[3] Later, Nasher continued his legal training at the European Court , in the European Parliament and at the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom ^[4] , was also a member of the German mission to the UN in New York .

Nasher began his teaching career as a teacher at the University of Oxford, where he also interviewed prospective students before being appointed professor of leadership and organization at the Munich Business School in 2010. ^[5] At the time of his appointment, he was the youngest professor in Bavaria . ^[6]

Nasser's books have been published in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland , the Czech Republic , Korea , Russia , Taiwan, and China, and have repeatedly become bestsellers in Germany. ^[7] Nasher’s work is regularly featured in publishers such as ZEIT ^[8] , Handelsblatt ^[9] , Süddeutsche Zeitung , and Focus , where Nasher maintains a column. ^[10] Nasher’s first bestseller, Durchschaut focuses on fraud detection tools, while Entlarvt! describes the application of interrogation techniques to a corporate context. Nasher donated a fee from the publication of his book The Open Society of Karl Popper (Die Staatstheorie Karl Poppers) of the non-profit non-governmental organization Human Rights Watch , which aims to promote human rights by investigating abuse and government pressure. ^[fifteen]
Nasher regularly performs at The Magic Castle in Hollywood , California ^[16] , and performed at the Manhattan Magic show in Times Square in New York in 2009. ^[17] Was a member of the German television show Next Uri Geller . ^[eighteen]
Nasher acted as executive producer of the British gangster film “Smoke” ^[19] , which was presented at the Marbella International Film Festival. He is a cousin of Afghan singer Farhad Daria.
