Novize-Oliah ( Persian نویز علیا ) is a village in the north of Iran , in the Alborz island . It is part of the Talekan shakhrestan . It is part of the Dehestan (rural district) Bala-Talekan bakhsha Merkezi.

Geography
The village is located in the northwestern part of Alborz, in the highlands of southern Elburz , north of the Shahrud River, about 34 kilometers north-northwest (NNW) from Keredzh , the provincial capital. The absolute height is 2044 meters above sea level [1] .
Population
According to the 2006 census, the population of the village was 283 people (142 men and 141 women). There were 72 families in Novise Olia. The literacy rate was 82.69%. The literacy rate among men was 88.03%, among women - 77.3% [2] .
