The Central Cemetery ( Spanish: Cementerio Central de Bogotá ) is a cemetery in the Colombian capital Bogota . Opened in 1836.

National heroes, famous figures of culture and science, politicians and statesmen, several former Colombian presidents rest here.
On September 26, 1984, the Central Cemetery of Bogota was declared a National Monument.
Some tombstones and mausoleums were created by famous sculptors P. Tenereni and C. Siginolfi .
