Nevezhin, Vasily Ivanovich

Vasily Ivanovich Nevezhin (born January 29 , 1951 ) is a Soviet and Russian track and field athletics coach . Merited Coach of Russia (2009). Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Russian Federation (2009).

Biography

Vasily Ivanovich Nevezhin was born on January 29, 1951.

Vasily Ivanovich repeatedly became the winner and the prize-winner of a regional review competition among trainers of teachers. In 1997 he became the laureate of the III All-Russian competition of author's programs of additional education, and in 2009 he became the laureate of the prize of the best children's coaches of Russia [2] . In 2012, he entered the list of applicants for placement on the "E-board of Honor of the Saratov Region" [3] .

Currently he is working as a senior trainer-lecturer of the track and field athletics department of the MU DO "Sports School of the Balashovsky Municipal District" [4] [5] [6] .

His most famous pupils are:

  • Natalya Popkova - five-time champion of Russia, two-time champion of Europe among young people in 2009 [7]
  • Anastasia Zholobova - champion of Russia among juniors of 2014, champion of Russia among juniors in 2017 [8]
