Biography
Born in 1905 in the territory of modern Nurabad district of Tajikistan . By nationality Tajik.
In the 1940s, he served as chairman of the executive committee of the Stalinabad district Council of Workers' Deputies in the Stalinabad region . In 1947, with its work, over-fulfillment ensured 69.7 percent of the planned cotton harvest in the whole region.
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 1, 1948, Zamanov Sultan was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of Lenin and the Order of Lenin and received a high yield of cotton when the collective farms made mandatory deliveries and payment in kind for the MTS work in 1947 gold medal " Hammer and Sickle " [1] .
In 1950-1954 he worked as chairman of the executive committee of the Garm regional council of workers' deputies.
Since 1954 - the chairman of the collective farm named after Stalin in the Stalinabad district.
After retirement - personal pensioner of union value.
He died at the age of 90 in 1995 in the city of Dushanbe .
