Biography
He trained under the guidance of Valentin Afanasevich Chaikin [3] .
Eight-time winner of the championships of the USSR (1969-1974). The first winner of the USSR Cup in 1971 [4] [5] . Record holder of the USSR at a distance of 3000 meters from 1971 to 1972 [6] .
Participant in the 1969 World Cup (14th place in the all-around) and European Championships ( 1967 - 8th place, 1969 - 10th place) [7] .
