Club career

In adult football, he made his debut in 1973 for the Treviso team, in which he spent three seasons, taking part in 45 league matches.

Subsequently, from 1976 to 1978 he played as part of the Avellino and Atalanta clubs. For the second in Serie A he debuted on June 6, 1977 in a match against Juventus (1: 1).

His game for the last team attracted the attention of representatives of the coaching staff of the SPAL team, which he joined in 1978. He played for the Ferrara club for three seasons. Most of the time spent on the team was the main player in the defense of the team.

During 1981-1983, he defended the colors of Verona , with which he won Serie B , and Catanzaro , which at that time played in the top division.

In 1983, he signed a contract with the Bari club, which included spent the next three years of his career. While playing Bari, he also mainly entered the field with the main team and helped him move from Serie C to Serie A.

During 1986-1988 he defended the colors of the Cesena club, where he also helped the team enter the top division.

He completed his professional playing career at the Padova club, for whose team he played for 1988-1990.
