Tauride TPP

Taurida TPP ( Simferopol PSU - TPP ) is a combined cycle power plant in the Crimea . Design capacity - 470 MW [4] . The purpose of the construction is to reduce the load on the transmission networks, which will increase the reliability of the Crimean energy system and reduce the cost of reconstructing power lines . The construction is carried out in the framework of the federal target program "Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol until 2020" [5] .

Construction

The construction of the power plant is carried out by Technopromexport (a subsidiary of Rostec Corporation) [4] .

On February 6, 2018, TPPs under construction in Crimea received official names. The Sevastopol CCGT-TPP is assigned the dispatch name Balaklava TPP, and the Simferopol CCGT-TPP - Tavricheskaya TPP. [eleven]

In February 2018, 330 kV outdoor switchgear was connected to the Crimean power system , new power lines were formed after cutting the 330 kV OHL by Dzhankoy – Simferopolskaya [12] .

In March 2018, the first ignition of turbine No. 1 was carried out, with an idle speed of 3 thousand revolutions per minute [13] . From September 7 to 10, complex tests of the first power unit [14] were carried out and on October 1, it was put into operation [8] in commissioning mode [7] . The second block of the thermal power plant reached its rated capacity on December 28, 2018 [9] . Specifications

Two combined-cycle units of 235 MW each [15] . The main type of fuel is natural gas, emergency fuel is diesel [16] .

Simferopol (Tavricheskaya) TPP produces an electric voltage of 110 kV and 330 kV [16] .
