Geography
The village is located in the eastern part of the Altai Territory, on the right bank of the Katun River , at a distance of about 6 kilometers (in a straight line) southeast of the city of Biysk , the administrative center of the region. The absolute height is 188 meters above sea level [2] . The climate is temperate, continental. The coldest month is January (up to −54 ° C), the warmest is July (up to +39 ° C). The annual rainfall is 450-500 mm [3] .
