Biography
Lance Neteri was born on June 28, 1957 in Toronto, Canada. He played in the youth and junior leagues of Canada. From 1975 to 1979 he played for the team at Cornell University. In 1977, in the NHL draft, the rights to the player were assigned to the New York Rangers team. In 1979, Nethery began to play for the Rangers farm club in the American Hockey League. In the National Hockey League debuted in the season 1980/81. The next season began in New York, but later moved to the Edmonton Oilers. In total, the NHL played 41 matches, scored 11 goals and gave 14 assists.
In 1982 he signed a contract with the club of the second German league "Duisburg". The team played one season, after which he moved to the Swiss Davos, the colors of which he defended for 5 years. As a member of the team he became a double champion of Switzerland, in 1984 and 1985. In the 1985/86 season, he played several matches in the AHL for Hershey Bears. From 1988 to 1990, he played for the Herisau team in the second league of Switzerland, after which he ended his playing career.
From 1990 to 1992 he headed Davos as a head coach. In the 1992/93 season, he led the Bern Club. Since 1993 he has been working in Germany, and is leading the first and second leagues of the country [1] He won four titles champion of the country. At the 2012 World Championships he worked as an assistant to the head coach of the Swiss national team. Since 2015, he has been the sports manager and head coach of the club of the second German league Fuchs Duisburg.
