Pervez Khattak is a Pakistani statesman and politician. In 2013, he was appointed Chief Minister of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province .

Biography
Born on January 1, 1940 in the village of Monkey Sharif , British India . He graduated from educational institutions of Lahore and Rawalpindi . In 1983, he took up political activities: he was elected five times in parliamentary elections as a deputy to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Assembly from the Pakistan People's Party . He served as Minister of Irrigation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa [1] .
On December 15, 2011, he joined the Tehrik-e-Insaf party , led by former cricket player Imran Khan . In the same year, Pervez Hattak resigned from the post of Minister of Irrigation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in protest against corruption in this province. On May 31, 2013 he was elected Chief Minister of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province [2] .
Married, has 5 children (three sons and two daughters) [3] .
