Biography

Konstantin Maksimovich Sergeev was born on May 14, 1893 in the village of the factory of the porcelain and faience production factory of M. S. Kuznetsov, Tver Province. Now it is the city of Konakovo . In 1912 he graduated from the Tver Real School, and in 1917 - the Moscow Commercial Institute . Member of the RSDLP (b) since 1917. In 1917–1923, he worked in various Soviet organizations of the Tver province, occupying posts from the chairman of the Kuznetsovsk Committee of the RSDLP (b) to the head of the Organizational Department of the Tver Provincial Committee of the RCP (b). Further:

  • 1923-1925 - Assistant Head of the Organizational and Distribution Department of the Central Committee of the RCP (B.).
  • 1925-1928 - Assistant Secretary-General of the Central Committee of the RCP (B.) -VKP (B) I. V. Stalin .
  • 1928-1930 - responsible secretary of the Syzran regional committee of the CPSU (b).
  • 1930-1932 - deputy secretary of the newspaper Pravda, deputy head of the Department of Culture and Propaganda of the Central Committee of the CPSU (b).
  • 1932-1934 - Head of the Political Sector of Machine and Tractor Stations of the West Siberian Territory.
  • 1934-1937 - 2nd Secretary of the West Siberian Regional Committee of the CPSU (b).
  • 1937-1938 - 1st Secretary of the Ordzhonikidze Regional Committee of the CPSU (b). This period was marked by the entry into the special troika , created by order of the NKVD of the USSR of 30.07.1937 No. 00447 [1] and active participation in Stalinist repression [2] .

Final stage

Arrested on May 9, 1938. Sentenced to VNV VKVS USSR August 28, 1938. Accused under articles 58-8, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR . Shot on the day of sentencing in Moscow. Rehabilitated in March 1956 by the definition of the Supreme Military Council of the USSR for lack of corpus delicti [3] .
