Biography
Pupil of the Donetsk Shakhtar football school. At an adult level, he began performing in 1993 in the amateur team Kirovets (Makeyevka). In the 1990s, he played in the second league of Russia for the Tobolsk Irtysh , Nizhnevartovsk Samotlor-XXI and Spartak (Lukhovitsy). He also played in the second league of Ukraine for Metallurg (Komsomolskoye) and Oskol (Kupyansk).
In 2001, he left to play in Finland, played for the club of the third division of YabK (Yakobstad) and the team of the second division of GBK (Kokkola).
In 2003, he returned to Ukraine and joined the Neftyanik team (Akhtyrka), in which he spent the next six seasons. In the 2006/07 season, he won the first league with his club and spent the next season in the Premier League , where he played 22 matches, but at the end of the season the team flew back to the first league. After a season, he again left for Finland, and at the end of his career he played for Makeevugol from his hometown. At the age of 37, he completed his sports career.
He graduated from the Donetsk Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism (1998). Since 2014, he worked as a children's coach in the Donetsk Shakhtar system [1] . At the same time he continued to play at an amateur level, in 2015 as part of FC Makeevka he became a finalist of the first DPR Cup draw and was recognized as the best midfielder of the tournament [2] , and in 2016 he became a finalist of the tournament as a part of OD Donetsk Republic [ 3] . In 2017, speaking for the Nika team, he was recognized as the best player in the Donetsk open winter championship [4] .
Personal life
The elder brother Vitaliy (born 1975) was also a football player, playing for the clubs of the lower divisions of Ukraine, Russia and Finland [5] . In many clubs he played with his brother.
