Bar-Hadad III ( Ben-Hadad III ; in the Bible - Venadad ; Aram. בר הדד , Heb. בן הדד ; “son of Hadad ” [1] [2] [3] ) - King Aram from 796 BC . er 792 BC u son of Hazael . He is spoken of in the biblical Fourth Book of Samuel (2 Kings 13: 3-24 ).

Bar-Hadad III inherited from his father a kingdom that had barely recovered from the Assyrians' successful campaign in the capital Damascus. At the same time, subject to him, the Northern Palestine declared war on the Arameans . King Joash of Israel conquered many cities from Bar Hadad III captured by his predecessors in Palestine. The kingdom of Aram never again after that returned the former power and later fell into decay.
