Martianov, Evgeny Vladimirovich

Evgeny Vladimirovich Martianov was born on February 12, 1938 in Krasnodar. In 1959 he graduated from the Department of Physical Culture of the Krasnodar State Pedagogical Institute .

Since 1959 he has been working at the FSO Dynamo ^[1] . For several years he was a senior coach of the USSR national long jump team ^[2] . For many years he was a senior trainer and teacher of the athletics department of the Krasnodar Regional School of Higher Sports Excellence ^{[3] [4]} .

He prepared a number of famous athletes, including:

• Leonid Voloshin - 1990 European champion, two-time European indoor champion (1992, 1994) ^[5] ,
• Tatyana Rodionova - silver medalist at the indoor indoor championship in 1985,
• Stanislav Tarasenko - silver medalist of the 1993 World Cup,
• Evgeny Tretyak - three-time indoor champion of Russia (1995, 1997, 2001),
• Andrey Kurennoy - champion of the 1995 Universiade, champion of Russia in 1997 ^[6] ,
• Igor Gavrilenko - the champion of Russia in the premises of 2001,
• Asker Barcho - 1969 USSR champion.

In the 2010s, he began to prepare bobsledders, among his pupils: Alexey Pushkarev, Vasily Kondratenko and Alexei Zaitsev ^{[7] [8]} .

• The honorary title " Honored Trainer of the RSFSR " (1983).
• Honorary title " Honored Coach of the USSR " (1991).
• The badge of honor "For Merits in the Development of Physical Culture and Sports" (1998).
