Belozersky iron ore district

Belozersky iron ore district - in Ukraine , Zaporizhzhya region . Opened in 1955 . Deposits of rich iron ores : Yuzhno-Belozerskoye , Pereverzevskoye and North-Belozerskoye . Reserves up to a depth of 1000 m - 720 million tons with a Fe content of 60-66%. Since 1966, the Yuzhno-Belozerskoye field has been developed underground. It is being developed by the Zaporizhzhya Iron Ore Combine , Dneprorudnoye . Reserves 10 billion tons
