Krasny Kamen ( Ukr. Chervoniy Kamіn , Crimean-Tat. Qızıl Taş, Kyzyl Tash ) is a rock in the Gurzuf valley on the southern coast of the Crimean peninsula ( Yalta region ), located at an altitude of 430 meters above sea level, composed of pinkish-yellow marbled limestone , natural and geological monument since 1969 .

Description
There are vineyards around the cliff, right at the foot of the lake, and just below the village of Krasnokamenka (until 1948, Kyzyltash), which got its name from the cliff. On the west side of the rock is the Putamish River. The platform at the top of the cliff with a length of 120 m and a width of 50 m on three sides has steep steep slopes, the height of which reaches 70 m. You can get to the peak only from its northern side, along a steep path that in ancient times was a narrow road. Also, the rock is used for climbing [2] .
History
According to archaeological research, in the Middle Ages on the top of the Red Stone was a small sentinel fortification [3] [4] .
In the area of Red Stone, white muscat grapes are grown . From the grapes growing exclusively under this rock, the famous Soviet winemaker A. A. Egorov created in 1944 the “ Muscat White Red Stone ” wine [5] .
Also, some scenes of the film " Kingdom of Crooked Mirrors " were shot on it.
