History
It was founded in 1959. Before the appearance of the Southeast microdistrict, it was simply called the Microdistrict. The area was 15 hectares. It housed a tour desk, the initiator of which in March 1971 was the Hero of the Soviet Union Vasily Ivanovich Yanitsky , who later became the head of this institution [1] .
Enterprises, buildings and structures
Built up mainly by residential multi-apartment five-story buildings. On the territory of the microdistrict are located: kindergarten No. 19 , city registry office, art school, automatic telephone exchange, trade enterprises. In the central part of the microdistrict on the territory of the former coal boiler house there is a grocery mini-market.

You can get to the Northern microdistrict by buses of city routes No. 1, 1a, 2, 2a, 5, 7, 8, 15a.
