Rechnik , or Stukenia ( lat. Stuckenia ), is a genus of aquatic herbaceous plants of the Potamogetonaceae family.

The genus is named after the German teacher from Bremen , who is fond of botany, Wilhelm Adolf Stucken ( German: Wilhelm Adolf Stucken , 1860-1901) [2] .

Description

Perennial herbaceous plants completely submerged in water. The stem is elongated. The leaves are alternate, sessile, narrowly linear, vaginal .

Inflorescences on long pedicels, flowers arranged. The fruit is round.
