History

June 22, 1951 by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR No. 742/9 in the city of Bryansk, 3 districts were formed - Volodarsky, Sovetsky, Fokinsky. On June 2, 1956, in accordance with the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR, the fourth city district, Bezhitsky, was formed from the abolished city of Bezhitsa , included in the city limits of Bryansk.
