Biography
Pupil of Izhevsk football, coaches - S. A. Samsonov, S. Yu. Dementiev , Stanislav Korotaev, Nikolay Vyutnov. He became the winner of the championship of Russia among young men. At the professional level, he made his debut at the age of 18 as a member of Izhevsk Dynamo , who played in the second division.
In the summer of 2000, he moved to KAMAZ in Chelny , where he played for the next six and a half seasons and played more than 200 matches in all tournaments. In 2003, together with the team, he became the winner of the zonal tournament of the second division. After leaving KAMAZ, he played in the first division for Nosta , Krasnodar and Lipetsk Metallurg . In 2010, he returned to his native Izhevsk and spent one season as part of the Soyuz-Gazprom club. The next year, he moved to the Novokuznetsk Metallurg and in its composition became the winner of the zonal tournament of the second division. He completed his sports career in his hometown as part of the Zenit-Izhevsk club at the age of 33 years [1] .
In total, during his professional career he played 382 matches in the national championships, including 182 matches in the first division and 200 in the second. He played 23 matches in the Russian Cup , including in 2003 he entered the field in the 1/16 final match against Petersburg Zenit [2] .
Since 2015, he was a member of the coaching staff of the Zenit-Izhevsk club’s backup team; in 2016, he became the head coach of the double [3] . Since the summer of 2018, he has been the head coach of Zenit-Izhevsk [4] [5] .
